Day 14: This is how you can test the headlines to work the way you want them to.

Test your headline by asking these questions.

If you don’t clearly define what makes doing business special, your customers won’t be able to either.

• Does the headline-----?
o Promise a benefit
o Solve a problem
o Appeal to the customer’s self interest
o Arouse curiosity
o Offer news

• Is your headline has a great offer?
o Use a power-packed headline and sub-headline
o Sell benefits
o Appeal to human nature
o Use facts and specifics
o Use testimonials and endorsements
o Add a guarantee
o Lead customers to actions
o Offer bonuses or special incentives

• Examples of great offers are:
o Third party referral
Offer referral fee to someone who recommends your products or services to customers.
o Get a member offer
Health clubs, book clubs, can give members a free gift or a fee when they bring a friend.
o Personal offer
For self-improvement or self-analysis products, offer personal evaluation. This is good for professionals also.
